Our approach
Education with clear boundaries.
A useful financial course should explain the mechanics, show the assumptions and make uncertainty visible.

What the courses do
We explain financial concepts, their mechanics and their limits. Courses do not assess a reader's circumstances or recommend a security, provider, account, product or transaction. U.S. legal and tax arrangements are identified in their local context; they are not universal rules.
Why 130 topics became 10 courses
The former library separated many closely related questions into short pages. In September 2026, all 130 topics were reviewed and consolidated into ten canonical courses across four learning paths. The goal was to give readers enough context to understand how related decisions affect one another.
The ten cornerstone URLs are the canonical lessons. The other original article URLs remain available for existing bookmarks and links, but point readers and search engines to the relevant complete course. They are excluded from search indexing and the sitemap.
Depth and reading time
Each course is designed to require at least ten minutes of reading at an estimated 180 words per minute. This is an editorial usability floor, not a claim that length proves quality and not a statement that any search engine prefers a particular word count.
Quality is judged by whether a course answers its learning objectives, distinguishes facts from assumptions, explains meaningful trade-offs and gives readers a route to current official information.
Sources and examples
Relevant official agency and regulator material is linked for further reading. A source list does not mean an agency endorses this publication. Where current rules determine an outcome, the official source for the applicable year and jurisdiction controls.
Examples are hypothetical and intentionally simplify a specified relationship. They are not customer stories, market forecasts or current product quotes. Fees, tax, eligibility rules and contractual exceptions can change a real-world result.
AI assistance and responsibility
The September 2026 curriculum was consolidated and rewritten with AI assistance. AI supported drafting, organization and technical checks. It cannot establish factual accuracy, professional suitability or the correct decision for a reader.
The publisher remains responsible for the published text. The site does not claim that the curriculum was independently reviewed by a licensed financial adviser, lawyer or accountant. A professional review or credential will only be stated when it actually occurred and can be attributed.
Dates and updates
Publication dates preserve the original archive dates. A visible updated date records a substantive revision to the course; it does not imply that every external source was rechecked on that date.
Corrections
Readers can report a correction with the page URL, relevant passage and supporting evidence. Confirmed material corrections should update the course text and its visible revision date.
Advertising
Advertising is separate from educational content and does not constitute an endorsement. Readers are never asked to click advertisements. Ad placements must be clearly labelled, remain distinct from navigation and must not block or imitate course content.
Long-form courses permit no advertisement beside the course title, lesson-section navigation or previous/next-course controls. When manual units are enabled, no more than two labelled placements are rendered inside a complete lesson. Calculators, policy pages and preserved handoff pages do not contain manual ad units.
Advertising availability depends on platform approval, account configuration and applicable consent requirements. The advertising loader remains disabled until the publisher confirms that a Google-certified consent message is configured. No page, disclaimer or technical change guarantees acceptance by an advertising program.
