• figures and definitions, provided you check them against the primary source we cite, since rules and thresholds change.

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site in a way that degrades service for other readers.

We work hard to be accurate and we cite primary sources so that you can verify anything yourself. Even so, rules change, sources are revised, and mistakes happen. Every guide carries a publication or revision date, and any figure tied to a tax year or contribution limit is dated in the text.

Content is provided on an “as is” basis. We make no warranty that a guide is complete, current, or applicable to your circumstances. If you spot an error, please tell us — corrections are logged and the revision date is updated.

The written guides, structure and design of this site are our copyright. Government publications we cite — IRS publications, CFPB guidance, SEC releases, Federal Reserve data — are works of the United States government and are generally in the public domain; where we quote them we say so. Trademarks and company names mentioned in a guide belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

Guides link to third-party sources so you can read the original rule. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything the linked organisation sells.

The site is funded by display advertising, which is served by a third-party network. Ad content is chosen by that network, not by us.
